In a busy first quarter, Phoenix Technical Publications recently welcomed a new staff member who has a Ph.D. in Genetics and is a biosciences writing expert. We have worked with both new and existing clients on interesting projects and we are getting involved in several exciting new technologies.

BIO-TECH

Phoenix Tech Pubs welcomes our newest staff member, a bio-tech specialist with a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We have recently started working on projects for two major bio-tech companies.

SOLAR

Solar technology keeps expanding into new directions. We are writing marketing collateral for a local start-up that is using solar power for both photovoltaic electric and thermal applications. We are also developing operator and maintenance documentation for a division of an established company that has developed new technology for solar cell manufacturing.

DATA CENTERS

Data centers are proliferating as the need for storage grows exponentially. A Bay Area construction company is pioneering the development of modular data centers that can be built anywhere in the world, at much lower cost than using traditional construction techniques. We recently finished a Specifications Overview for this new venture.

MIL-SPEC

Phoenix Tech Pubs has done mil-spec work for over 25 years. We are currently upgrading a user’s guide for a mil-spec ruggedized laptop for a major defense contractor.
